FAQ
The template explains curing, foot traffic, vehicle timing, sealing, and weather factors.
A properly poured and jointed driveway typically serves 25-30 years or more. Longevity comes from the invisible parts — compacted base, correct thickness, air-entrained mix and saw-cut control joints — plus sealing every few years.
Broom finish is the standard textured surface — durable, slip-resistant and economical. Stamped concrete presses patterns and color into the same slab to mimic stone or pavers at a premium; it's beautiful but needs resealing to keep its look.
Concrete shrinks as it cures, so hairline cracking is physics, not failure — control joints exist to steer those cracks into straight, planned lines. Good base compaction, correct water ratio and proper curing keep random cracking to a minimum.
